The Little Red Wagon Principle

To understand the severity of our nation’s growing drug crisis it’s important to note the National Survey on Drug Use and Health indicated that drug and alcohol addiction cost American Society close to 200 billion dollars. While the challenges may appear to be insurmountable, we believe the answer is attainable – our Brief Intervention diversionary services provided by Sagire Consulting Firm, LLC.

Life is about choices and teaching young people not to make long-term decisions on temporary circumstances. My grandmother Nonie B. Corbin taught us that we all have a “little red wagon” you can make full rocks or you can make it full of feathers. The choice is yours. Never get mad at another man for putting feathers in their wagon when you decided to put rocks in your wagon. Whatever decision you make it’s your “little red wagon”. Just know Lori you got to pull it. So don’t get mad at the man at the top of the hill because he decided to put feathers in his wagon when you chose to put rocks in yours and you find yourself at the bottom of the hill. Before you make a choice rooted in haste let your decisions be governed by the filter of disciplining your appetites.

Our diversionary program is designed to assist juvenile courts in identifying youth who can be safely diverted from further contact with the juvenile justice system by teaching them to make better choices. The primary goal of the Brief Intervention Program is to promote abstinence and prevent relapse among chemical-using, experimental users, and delinquent youth.

Never Do Business Hungry

When an individual is hungry he doesn't make wise decisions. The fact that your current crisis is greater than your options; your perception of viable options will appear or become extremely distorted. It’s easy for individuals to say what they would do in your position. The reality is you don’t know what you are made of until you’re placed in the fiery furnace of affliction. The tendency to make something happen by any means necessary may lead you down a path of unpredictable consequences. The common cliché of “don’t make a long-term decision on a temporary circumstance”; becomes easier said than done.

In business, Laban's allies are charlatans, swindlers, masqueraders and deceivers that will show up to overwork you and underpay you when you operate from a driven spirit to make money. Laban’s are con-artist who operate with a hidden agenda, witchcraft, and manipulation. They are driven typically by a poverty spirit. They operate seeking to obtain a harvest they are not willing to sow into or pay the allocated price to obtain those set services you offer.

Desperation reveals their unpretentious position regarding why they’re in business. I learned long time ago the difference between operating in my preferences as oppose to my convictions. Preferences can cause one to make a decision based on situational ethics. Whereas, convictions are rooted in your lifestyle demonstrated by your core values. They are things you will do without reward and behind closed doors. It’s what you will die for they are your non-negotiable’s. It’s in these times what is deeply rooted in your character is revealed.

Handling Adversities:

The question was asked how do you handle adversities?

Answer: (Mindset) There is a big difference between gratitude and appreciation. Gratitude keeps you connected to your past struggles and pains while allowing others to embrace and accept your new position in life without them feeling insecure, jealous and or resentful. Gratitude nestles with the acceptance or the fact that you have had some past struggles and overcame some tremendous adversity. Therefore, it's okay now that things are better and your current situation has changed. It's the haters giving you permission to have a little modicum of success now. Remember that some people can only handle one dimension of you as long as that dimension remains beneath them.

While appreciation for your life's journey says, I am no longer obligated to have the ID card of pain to identify or associate with my past because I have clearly accepted and understood my current position. I have taken responsibility for the mistakes I made in my past. I am learning to appreciate my life without feeling obligated to justify my journey or prove my worthiness to be in a position of strength regardless, if others around me understand it or not. It's looking to my future without the umbilical cord of pain. It's living my life in and with true optimism. ~ Lori M.

I don't need to prove my pain or earn my struggles in order for 'you' to justify or validate my triumphs.~ Lori M.

Walking The Path to Financial Recovery

There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.~ The Matrix, Morpheus

Knowing the path is having an awareness of the existence of a thing. Yet, walking the path requires one to demonstrate what they've known through the application process. Betrayal Has a Purpose

When a Judas in your life is identified and pointed out they can no longer keep company with you due to their shame for betrayal. Don't ever think I am unaware of who sits at my table with insincerity and tries to eat from my plate. We must understand a Judas can only arrive in your life at an appointed time; when a sacrifice is offered and required prior to God displaying his greatness in your life.

So, the question becomes what am I holding onto that needs to be put on the altar. We must learn to let go of whatever is keeping us in bondage and captivity once and for all. The wisdom is knowing that Judas will expose himself without your assistance. Be mindful that the betrayal must occur in spite of you recognizing who he is and what he will do. The consequences for every Judas is revealed after their insidious incomprehensible act. There is no need to hand him the rope vengeance is mine says the Lord.

Therefore, don't stay focused on the act of betrayal but the purpose it will eventually serve in your life. You see you can't truly have a resurrection without a death because it's hard and nearly impossible to die willingly. The purpose of a Judas is to crucify your flesh in order to manifest your blessing. The journey to the cross is often walked alone in humiliation and without any support. Yet, the resurrection will be televised because your Judas made your death and burial public. Trust the process to greatness, not the circumstances or your current condition.~ Lori M.

Dealing with Death

There is a process associated with death and dying. I have been trying to understand the gravity and the impact of death since I lost my mother at ten years old. People tend to make assumptions or have preconceived notions about when you should be done with your grieving process. When an individual is dying a time frame is connected with the loss; whereas when an individual dies suddenly there isn't a time frame related to the death. You just have to immediately face and accept death has happened regardless if you weren't ready for it when it showed up in your life.

When you are unprepared, unaware, blind sighted, and or ill-equipped to handle the death of a person or a thing it can be devastating. It's the moment when most people don't know how to release the pain in order to move beyond their death experience. They hold on to it by resisting it with anger, hatred, confusion, and depression to just name a few emotions that can hinder you and keep you in a place of bondage for life. It's vital that you get the help you need to properly release those negative toxic emotions. It's the point of no return. Once you reach this connection, your understanding will be at a new level. It's an incomprehensible, unexplainable experience on this particular plane of existence.

With that being said, don't allow anyone to dictate to you how long your death, burial and resurrection process should take. I have discovered that it can take decades to deal with the loss of someone or their death. You must recognize dealing with death is a process. The acknowledgment of death allows one to prepare for the next step which is the burial process.
Once you complete the burial process then comes the resurrection process. Yet, I have also learned to recognize that the burial process manifests at a more efficient level once you have acknowledged, accepted then announced the death. The most important thing to remember in your healing process is each phase can take several years to overcome. The irony is that regardless of how long it takes for you to acknowledge the death; the burial process will always be less combative.

The burial is representative of finality. It's the place of identifying that closure has taken place. It's the place of truly letting go in order to transition into something greater. I always thought for me that the death experience was much more critical and symbolic than the burial. That was due to my immaturity because I was holding on to the dead thing longer than I should have. I spent years rehearsing the pain of my death experiences instead of releasing them. What I have sensed discovered is, if you mentally ascend through the mourning of the death process and face burial the only thing left is the resurrection.

My prayer is for those of you that have faced any type of loss in this capacity is to not get stuck in one phase without moving through all three phases. You can spend thirty bitter years holding onto the death by blaming someone for the cause. Then spend the next twenty years being resentful about the burial. You then stay stuck and become traumatized by never experiencing the resurrection process; which will never be conducive to your growth healing and recovery.

The life lesson is to take the time necessary to release the pain associated with the death free from any form of negativity. Then allow yourself the space to bury the dead thing. If, and when you reach a sense of clarity and understanding of your own individualized death journey then the burial should have a synchronicity process connected with the closure of the death and any form of pain associated with it.

I will close by saying, after dealing with many deaths at various levels and capacities in my life; I have learned to seek closure and clarity without making excuses or blaming anyone for the pain I had to endure. Understanding that the pain of death or lost must have a purpose. Have patience with yourself because after, the internal work is done an insightful truth will be revealed. Just get ready to experience your resurrection. Peace. ~ Lori M.
